Today's Topic is Organization
We all know that not everyone has the picture perfect organized home but when you are Selling your Home, all normality goes out the window ( Unless you are a #MarieKondo #tidyingup follower and have the most perfect home! Lol) But seriously.. Organization is HUGE. When a buyer comes to view your home and you have your closets and pantry completely jam packed and completely unorganized, you could possibly lose them. Storage is a HUGE selling point and if you can showcase how well things can be organized in your home, they can & will definitely see themselves keeping their items the same way. You don’t want them to think that none of their stuff will fit because you have your stuff overflowing everywhere right?
So where to start?
- Start packing up unwanted and unused items and donate them way before listing your home for sale.
- Then get to organizing the items that you will still be using until you move out. You don’t NEED 30 towels, or overflowing kitchen utensils.
- Tackle one closet & pantry at a time. ????????
Our pro tip is to always take pictures of each space & your progress until you feel that it is Sale Ready! Why pictures? because we when you sell your home, the first impression your home will make on buyers are the Listing Photos. ????
